General Info

Interests
Getting on in years, I am now leaning more toward crappie fishing than anything else. I've been known to be a smallmouth bass specialist for many years and have fished for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, bass and panfish. Have caught just about everything that swims in our waters west of Worchester.

Bobbie Garland Baby Shads for crappie. Drop shotting for smallmouths.
Fishing Rods
More than I care to think about! My grandkids will certainly be well equipped the day I meet My maker. B n' M rods are my favorite for panfishing. BPS rods do the rest.
Fishing Reels
Pflueger Presidents are the best! I use a #6920 on my UL rigs. Use to be a big Shimano fan, having many in my collection. But their quality has steadily declined over the years, in my opinion.
Fishing Techniques
Drifting UL jigs for open water crappie. Drop shotting deep, off-shore structures for smallmouths.
