I'm headed back to the money spot tonight...gonna try a really slow crankbait int he current of the culvert and see what happens. I may also carolina rig a plastic worm and bounce it across the bottom for cats.

AKA Tower lake, Cougar lake is located on the SIUE Campus in Edwardsville, IL. This will be my first time getting out this entire year, (employment sucks), and with the heat index projected @ 105, my hopes are not too high. I have only fished near the marina before, and am bringing my bicycle early in the morning so that i can make it around the entire lake by the end of the day. Timne permitting, I may also hit the lake on fridaq afternoon and evening.
